February 11th, 2008 . by John Dickinson

Data loss is something whose foolproof solution is still not available but still many preventive methods can be applied to minimize the risk due to data loss. Because the data losses due to human errors like accidental file deletion cannot be stopped and requires data recovery software to recover the data back. We can just create some guidelines to minimize the data loss rates.

Firstly, the place where the computer is placed must be cool, dry and dust free. This keeps computer’s temperature normal and helps computer give better performance.

Secondly, you must install a good antivirus and regularly update as everyday a new virus is made. Also install a good firewall to stop the unauthorized access to your network. And do not click on any suspicious link when surfing on internet. And never install any malicious software as they invite viruses.

Thirdly, you can use uninterrupted power supply with each of the computer to safeguard from the data loss occurring due to the power failure.

And even after this if you face data loss you can go for file recovery software. With this you can also recover mp3 files and recover deleted photos too. So follow the above guidelines and keep your computer safe from data losses.
