Costs you pay for your Singapore office rental

April 1st, 2008 . by John Dickinson

In this modern era you may not be thinking of any old time office running on large overhead ceiling fans or high sounding coolers. These are the days of air conditioners and they do not make much sound either. Naturally you will like your Singapore office to be fitted with air conditioners. Facilities you get while renting an office in the technologically advanced island city is one of the prime concerns when you set up an office there.

Adopted practice with landlords giving away Singapore office rental is that air conditioners are provided and they are included in the rentals. You have to pay for additional fittings or building expansion if any required for your office.

Some other costs may also be involved. These include the stamp duty you pay for the agreement papers and administration costs involved in preparation of the documents. These are not hidden costs. Ordinarily, the landlord will let you know the details with the exact amount required for these purposes before you sign your tenancy agreement for Singapore office space. The cost may be anywhere between three hundred to one thousand Singapore dollars. However, practice differs with landlords.

Of course it would be prudent for you to know everything beforehand to escape from any nasty surprises at the end of it. Expert Agency services are available for the purpose in Singapore and these expert agencies can lead you through the process of acquiring office space and building at Singapore in a systematic and economic manner.

Getting a house in the Sporades Islands in Greece

February 20th, 2008 . by John Dickinson

Islands in Greece are rich with abundance of nature in many ways. The highland in the centers of the islands, the streams flowing, and the golden sandy beeches are all characteristics of the Sporades islands in Greece. Life in islands is different than life in cities like Athens or Crete. Yet they have their own charm for which many people get attracted to have an abode there. Among the islands in Greece, the Sporades islands occupy prime place.

These islands lie at the eastern shore of Greece. There are in all eleven islands in the group. While four of them are inhabited seven others are uninhabited. The four inhabited islands are Skiathos, Skopelos, and Skypos etc. Dense vegetation and mountain terrains are the characteristics of these Greek islands. Each of the islands has their own specific charm and is unique in their own way for the tourists or visitors.

A number of hotels are available in the island for your temporary accommodation but finding to buy villa or house where you can stay permanently will require engagement of an agent. The problem here is that very few of the small islands have estate agents. You will also not like to have properties in an uninhabited island. You may have to run from village to village to find out a real property.
